How it works

From one URL to a list of things worth fixing

No account, no crawler to install and no waiting for a report by email. Here is exactly what happens between pasting a link and getting an answer, what it costs when you want more than one page, and what we keep.

A single page, free

  1. 01

    You paste a URL

We fetch the page exactly as a visitor would and read the HTML, the CSS and the response headers. This part finishes in about two seconds, so the first real findings are on screen before anything slow has started.

  2. 02

Lighthouse runs on mobile and desktop

In the background we run Google PageSpeed Insights against both profiles. That is the same engine Google uses to judge your site. Where Google has enough real visitor data for the page, we show that alongside the lab result, because field data is what Core Web Vitals in search actually rely on.

  3. 03

You get scores and a ranked fix list

133 checks across nine areas, each scored out of 100, with every issue ranked so the things costing you the most sit at the top. Critical issues are separated from warnings rather than being mixed into one long list.

Free, no signup

  • Every score, across all nine areas
  • Mobile and desktop screenshots
  • The full count of what is wrong
  • The first three issues explained in full

With an email address

  • Every remaining issue explained
  • The specific fix for each one
  • A copy of the report sent to you
  • A shareable link that lasts 30 days

We gate the explanations rather than the scores on purpose. You should be able to see whether the tool found anything real before deciding we are worth an email address.

The whole site, priced before you pay

One page tells you about one page. Most problems worth finding, thin templates, broken links, pages nobody can index, only show up across the whole site.

  1. 01

    We find your pages

Your sitemap is read first, including the ones nested inside a sitemap index, then robots.txt is checked for sitemaps declared there. Up to 500 pages.

  2. 02

You see the count and the price

The price depends on how many pages we actually found, and you see both before anything is charged. No subscription required and nothing is deducted until you confirm.

  3. 03

Templates get sampled, every page gets checked

Every page is fetched and checked. For the slow performance pass we group pages by template, because a hundred blog posts built from one template share one performance problem. That is what keeps a full site audit priced in cents instead of dollars.

  4. 04

Closing the tab does not stop it

The scan runs on our side and a scheduled job picks up anything left unfinished every minute. You can close the browser and come back to a finished report.

Monitoring, for when it breaks later

A site passes an audit on Tuesday and a plugin update breaks it on Friday. A monitor re-runs the audit on a schedule and only writes to you when something actually changed for the worse.

What triggers an email

  • criticalThe site stops respondingChecked every run, before anything else
  • criticalA page stops being indexableA stray noindex is the classic silent traffic killer
  • criticalA new critical issue appearsOnly issues that were not there last time
  • criticalA certificate or domain is expiringWarned early, critical inside 7 days
  • warningA score drops by 10 or moreRaised to critical at a drop of 20
  • warningCore Web Vitals get worseMeasured against the previous run, not an absolute
  • warningLinks start breakingInternal links that used to resolve and no longer do

A run that finds nothing new sends nothing. The point of a monitor is that silence means everything is fine, which only works if silence is the normal state.

What it costs

One page

Free

Every score without an account. Explanations and fixes for an email address.

A whole site

$0.99 to $2.99

  • Up to 25 pages, $0.99
  • 26 to 100 pages, $1.99
  • 101 to 500 pages, $2.99

Ongoing monitoring

$9.00 to $79.00/month

  • Solo, $9.00: Weekly checks on up to 3 sites. Includes $3.00 of scan credit.
  • Agency, $29.00: Weekly checks on up to 15 client sites. Includes $10.00 of scan credit.
  • Studio, $79.00: Up to 50 sites, with daily checks where you need them. Includes $30.00 of scan credit.

How paying works

Site audits are paid from a credit balance rather than card by card, because a payment fee on a $0.99 charge costs more than the scan. Top up by card or PayPal, minimum $10.00, and scans draw against it. New accounts start with $5.00 of credit, so your first site audit is usually already covered.

Credit does not expire. Every deduction is a line in your account history, so you can see exactly what each scan cost.

What we keep

Reports

Stored for 30 days so your link keeps working, then deleted automatically. A report holds the site that was scanned and its results, with no personal data attached to it.

Your details

An email address only if you gave us one, and a credit balance if you have paid. We do not sell either. Accounts sign in with a one-time link rather than a password, so there is no password here to leak.

Questions

Do I need an account to run an audit?

No. A single page audit is free and needs no account. You get every score and see how many issues were found without signing in. An email address unlocks the explanation and the fix for each one.

How accurate are the performance scores?

The performance numbers come from Google PageSpeed Insights, which runs the same Lighthouse engine Google uses itself, on both a mobile and a desktop profile. Where Google has enough real visitor data for your site we also show that field data, which is what actually feeds Core Web Vitals in search.

Why does a second scan of the same page return the same result?

Results are cached so a repeated scan does not burn a fresh Lighthouse run. You can force a fresh one, and after 5 minutes the cooldown lifts and a re-scan runs from scratch. Reports stay available for 30 days.

What happens if I close the tab during a full site audit?

Nothing is lost. The scan is queued on our side and a scheduled job picks it back up every minute, so it carries on without the browser. Come back later and the report is waiting in your account.

Am I charged before I know the price?

No. We count the pages on your site first, show you the exact price for that page count, and only then ask you to confirm. Nothing is deducted until you do.

What do you do with my email address?

We send the report you asked for and occasional notes about the tool. We do not sell it or pass it to anyone. Audit results themselves are stored without any personal data attached.

Try it on your own site

A single page, every score, no account. It takes about ten seconds.
